The Wedding World Radio Network was founded by Tad Bonvie. A music and radio industry veteran since the turn of Disco, Bonvie cut his teeth as a radio, nightclub and wedding DJ. As an independent record promoter, working with legendary remixer/producer John Luongo and Chic record producers and music moguls Mark Kreiner and Tom Cossie, exposing new music. The music roster included chart topping artists such as Chic, Grace Jones, Rod Stewart, Dan Hartman, Odyssey, Evelyn "Champagnge" King, Three Degrees, Manu Dibango, and many more.
During the 1980's Bonvie, become executive producer of the National Dance Music Awards, while serving as advisor to the Boston Record Pool, one of the nations very first music providers directly to the night club industry. He collaborated with Radio legend Sunny Joe White and entrepreneur Richie Balsbaugh at a fledgeling "Disco" radio station called, Kiss 108 fm. There he hosted and produced a weekly radio music magazine, "The Music Scene" and also mixed and produced one of the nation's first live radio mix shows, "Club Kiss."
In the 1990's Bonvie went on to serve as Kiss-108 Music Director, the station now transformed to Boston's Hit Music Station Kiss-108 fm.There he joined a cast of superstar deejays on the air, including Hall of Fame air talents; Arnie"WooWoo" Ginsberg, Dale Dorman and Matt Siegel, and industry veterans JJ Wright, Ed Mcmann, JoJo Kinkaid, Jeff Wyatt, Vinnie Peruzzi and Diane Steele, as well as, top music programmers Steve Rivers, Cadillac Jack and John Ivey. Bonvie also owned a live events production company catering to high profile radio and charity events producing live shows featuring artists such as Lionel Richie, Harry Connick Jr., Amy Grant, Vince Gill, Jewel, the Wallflowers and many more.
Since the early 2000's, Bonvie's been with the CBS radio group serving in various capacities as Interim Music Director, Mix show DJ/host and night time announcer/host. He also acted as producer for the New Egland Star Search competition and continues work in the wedding industry providing music at many a happy occasion.
